Huge ancient Woodland turtle effigy ceremonial pipe hand carved from native semi-porous siliciclastic clay-mudstone of the Mississippi /Ohio River Valley region. Woodland Period.. Exact age not determined. Museum grade Hokem book piece. Acquired in late 90's from a collector who was the founder of the Collinsville Prehistoric Artifacts Show 37 years ago. This extremely rare artifact is worth double the asking price if accompanied by a COA. As yet I have not sent it to be certified. If and when I do, I will be asking a much higher amount.

~6-3/4" L x 3-3/4" W x 2" H at the largest points by hand measure. ~ 1.6 lbs. Condition as in photos.

NOTE: All dimensions and weight approximate to the best of my ability.
